Hi - I'm Derek Hasted. I founded my Guitar Workshop in 1988 as a natural accompaniment (pardon the pun!) to structured Classical lessons.

I was leader from then until 2023 - 35 years, and the Workshop is still going strong!

This website tells Workshop's story from its birth in April 1988 up to March 2023, when I moved out of the area and Peter Rogers took over as Leader.
